Rulmenţii axiali cu role cilindrice sunt formaţi din colivii axiale cu role cilindrice, inele de carcasă şi din inele de arbore.
Aceştia au o lăţime axială deosebit de redusă, au capacitate portantă foarte mare, sunt rigizi şi preiau forţe axiale într-un singur sens.

Colivii axiale cu role cilindrice

Coliviile axiale cu role cilindrice se compun din coroane axiale cu unul sau două rânduri de role cilindrice. Coliviile au o lăţime axilă deosebit de redusă, sunt foarte portante şi foarte rigide. Preiau forţe axiale dintr-un singur sens şi acţionează în direcţie radială ca lagăr liber. Coliviile axiale pot fi combinate cu inele de carcasă, respectiv de arbore sau pot fi integrate direct în construcţia adiacentă. Dacă se folosesc fără inele axiale, căile de rulare ale construcţiei invecinate trebuiesc să îndeplinească calităţile căilor de rulare pentru rulmenţi.

Inele de carcasă

Inelele de carcasă sunt fabricate prin aşchiere, suprafaţa exterioară este rectificată iar suprafaţa de rulare este prelucrată fin. Se pot centra pe diametrul exterior şi se combină cu colivii axiale dacă suprafaţa învecinată nu poate fi folosită ca şi cale de rulare.

Inele de arbore

Inelele de arbore sunt fabricate tot prin aşchiere, suprafaţa interioară este rectificată iar calea de rulare este prelucrată fin. Se pot centra la diametrul interior şi se combină cu colivii axiale dacă suprafaţa învecinată nu se poate folosi ca şi cale de rulare.

Inele rotative

Inelele rotative se pot folosi atât ca şi inel de carcasă cât şi de arbore. Diametrul interior şi exterior sunt strunjite iar calea de rulare este rectificată.
