Cuplajele de sens unic de tip manşon constau din inele exterioare cu pereţii subţiri, executate prin ambutisare cu rampe de blocare integrate, din colivii din plastic, arcuri de presiune şi dintr-un set de role sau ace. Acestea preiau momente de torsiune într-un singur sens şi ocupă un spaţiu radial redus. Cuplajele se oferă cu şi fără suspensie integrată.

Cuplajele de sens unic cuplează foarte precis deoarece rolele sunt arcuite individual şi prin aceasta se asigură contactul permanent dintre arbore, role şi rampele de blocare.
